Post sputtering & hesitation. 

I am having a problem with my 00 Ford Focus,  The check engine light came on so I brought it to Autozone were they gave me the idea that it was my #2 cylinder was misfiring or something. I bought new plugs and wires and that helped only for a minute, then I thought maybe the injector was bad so I replaced the #2 injector. No Dice. There is still a sputter and hesitation. I am at a loss. I was thinking next would be the ingnition coil. Any Ideas? Oh and a new air filter.
