Hello, I am having a bit of trouble with the power steering on my stang in the morning when i start it up the steering is very heavy for a short while and agin when doing quick steering movements ie at a roundabout. at first the garage said it was the alternater so we change that but it made no difference at all so i took it back if anything itt was worse.
now i have spoken to him this morning and he said it was the pump so he is trying it with more fluid but i was under the impression the power steering was electric and didnt have a pump but maybe i am wroncan some one please confirm wether the steering is electric with a pump or hydrauilic
