I've just traded my ford ranger for a mustang. I have had it a week. I've noticed when I shift gear from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, it's not that smooth. what is the problem?

hi there, It should get less notchy with more use. It is a long throw from 1st to 2nd and you need to use a lot more of your pedal travel.
