Hello. I currently own a 2002 Ford Focus. The problem started with stuttering, hesitation, then total shutdown. Now it won't crank. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

I think, a "no crank" or "no turning over" would happen if you had a dead battery.

I am having the same problem with my 00 Ford Focus, only with the sputtering, my car does start.  The check engine light came on so I brought it to Autozone were they gave me the idea that it was my #2 cylinder was misfiring or something. I bought new plugs and wires and that helped only for a minute, then I thought maybe the injector was bad so I replaced the #2 injector. No Dice. There is still a sputter and hesitation. I am at a loss. I was thinking next would be the ingnition coil. Any Ideas?
