My odometer quit about a year ago. Speedo is OK. Took it to the dealer today for the cruise recall and asked for an estimate on fixing the odo. Would you believe $700?? Plus the car must sit in their shop for a week while they send out the speedo unit.

There must be a better way.

On my '86 Volvo 240 there was a $25 gear I replaced. No problemo.

Is the Vic as easy as that? Thanks.
