Hello,
I have a 2000 ford explorer with clunk sound coming from the front sometimes when I pull away and sometimes when I slowing down. Its very slight clunk and you can just about feel it throught the steering wheel. hope anyone here want help me. thank you.

have they checked the sway bar links and upper spring seats? It could also be an axle shaft.

thanks for reply....had it checked at ford main dealer and turns out it the centre section exhaust. Its was noted on the last service as the baffles having gone. It rattles slightly on idle sometimes but apparently its causing this knocking sound.
